The folks at Project Hope Humane Society in Metropolis have made WMOK aware of scammers that are targeting their community of followers on Facebook.
Project Hope advised that the scammers seems to be sending messages to those who have commented on the Project Hope Page asking them to buy a sweatshirt.

Metropolis Public Library To Hold Library Book Club Planning Meetings in April
The Metropolis Public Library will hold a Library Book Club on Thursday, April 20, from 11-11:40A and from 6-6:40P and again on Saturday, April 22 from 10-10:40A.
Do you have ideas for an adult book club but you are not sure how to get started? Or maybe you’ve been looking to join an adult book club, either way these sessions are for you!
