Role: Full-Time Dental Assistant

Compensation: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour

Location: In-person in Goreville, IL
Key Responsibilities
-
Chairside Assistance: Support dentists during general dentistry procedures, manage instruments, handle suctioning, and maintain a clear operative field.

Patient Care & Safety: Take dental X-rays using proper safety/aseptic techniques and educate patients on post-treatment care.

Clinic Operations: Sterilize tools and materials according to infection control protocols, maintain a clean environment, and update medical histories and treatment notes in EMR systems (HIPAA compliant).
Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with four-handed dentistry, medical imaging, vital signs measurement, and dental terminology/anatomy.

Compliance: Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and strict infection control protocols.

Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate with dental hygienists, receptionists, specialists, and patients.
