Preparing for Spring in the City of Metropolis

(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – As Spring breaks in Metropolis we asked Chief Masse to remind us of the bicycle registration offered by the Metropolis City Police Department.

Bicycle registration is completely free to those who register and is paid for using funds from the Metropolis Police Department’s SAFE Program.

To register your bicycle, take it to the police station at 1020 Broadway Street in Metropolis.

Masse also said to make sure to put up and secure your bikes and any tools you may be using outside to avoid being a victim of a crime of opportunity.
