When Massac County Sheriff Chad Kaylor joined WMOK recently for Coffee Break he talked about the benefits of the Body Cameras that have been implemented this year within the department.
The body cameras were not mandated to take effect until January of 2025 however Kaylor said that the opportunity came about and the funding was available and seeing the benefits, they decided to proceed
Sheriff Kaylor told WMOK that the Body Cameras have assisted in the clarity of arrests and have allowed him to assist the deputies in making decisions even when he is not on site at the Sheriff’s Office.
