Super City Cleaners Partners with C.O.P.E. Food Pantry for October Community Focus

WMOK – METROPOLIS, IL — Super City Cleaners has officially named C.O.P.E. Food Pantry as its October Community Partner, putting a spotlight on local hunger relief and community support across Massac County.

Through the month of October, Super City Cleaners is backing C.O.P.E.’s mission to serve area families with special initiatives tied to everyday service.

In a statement shared with the community, Super City Cleaners announced:

“This October, we’re proud to support C.O.P.E. and the important work they do for local families in our community. YOUR LAUNDRY DOES A LITTLE MORE THIS MONTH. When you choose Super City Cleaners, you help make community initiatives like this possible. Throughout October, we’re supporting C.O.P.E.’s mission — and we’ve got something special planned. LOCAL SUPPORT. LOCAL IMPACT. Proud to be part of the community we serve.”

Feeding Families Across Massac County

The C.O.P.E. Food Pantry plays a vital role in keeping local tables filled, providing essential non-perishable foods and household staples to neighbors in need.

Complementing the pantry’s efforts is the “Plant a Row, Watch C.O.P.E. Grow” community garden—a local partnership between University of Illinois Extension, C.O.P.E., and SIU Credit Union. Located at 709 E. 5th Street in Metropolis, the donation garden has produced thousands of pounds of fresh, locally grown produce—including tomatoes, peppers, squash, and green beans—handed directly to families visiting C.O.P.E.
