METROPOLIS, IL — A Joppa man was arrested late last week following an incident at a Metropolis laundromat.
According to an arrest summary released by the Metropolis Police Department, 24-year-old Johnathan T. Troutt of Joppa was arrested on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Officers responded to the Easy Coin Laundry in the 600 block of East 5th Street, where Troutt was charged with:
