METROPOLIS, IL — A local resident was taken into custody following an incident at a county law enforcement facility earlier this month.
According to an arrest summary released by the Metropolis Police Department, 46-year-old Robert L. Little of Metropolis was arrested on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Officers arrested Little at the Massac County Sheriff’s Office, where he was charged with battery.
