METROPOLIS, IL — Southern Pride’s Happy Hearts Senior Center in Metropolis has announced a job opening for a dedicated Assistant Cook to join its team.
The position offers $16.00 per hour with a schedule of 30 hours per week, running Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Role Overview: The center is looking for an individual who enjoys working with seniors and can assist with daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience: Ideal candidates should have experience in cooking, food ordering, inventory control, and strong teamwork skills.
