(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – WMOK spoke with Beau Dodson Weather this morning regarding severe incoming weather of which we need to be aware.

Beau told us that if we have a sunny afternoon it will further destabilize the atmosphere which would cause additional thunderstorms this afternoon.  Beau said if supercells form over the area – 70mph and golf ball-sized hail can’t be ruled out.

Beau also warned that on Wednesday we may have multiple rounds of thunderstorms and baseball-sized hail could be possible.  Beau advises that on Wednesday we need to be very aware from mid to late morning through evening hours.
