Metropolis Police Chief Harry Masse: What's Been Happening in City Crime Since We Last Spoke and Preparing for Spring Safety
(WMOK) Metropolis IL – Metropolis Police Chief Harry Masse joined us on WMOK’s Coffee Break program this week to discuss city crime.
Chief Masse remarked that there had been a lot of warrants.  He credits that with the local nature of the new officers.  Masse told WMOK of the newest six officers – five are from Massac County and one is from Pope.
Chief Masse gave some tips to avoid becoming a crime of opportunity as Spring breaks.

We want to remind the community that April is Autism Awareness Month.
Metropolis Police Department Autism Awareness Fundraiser Patches are available at the Metropolis Police Department.

 

The price is $15.00 per patch.

 

You can stop in at the Metropolis Police Dept. 1020 Broadway St, Metropolis iL 62960 or mail a check to Chief Masse, with “Autism” on the memo line.
