Their comments let us know that there was more to the discussion.

With that, we added the topic to our list for their next Coffee Break, Thursday February 1.

WMOK spoke with Metropolis Public Library Director Rosemary Baxter and Circulation Director Brenda Hill for a part-two, it turned out to be WMOK’s coffee break as we discussed with Director Baxter “the Library Bill of Rights and its Role in Small Population “Hometown Libraries””

Hear our discussion from WMOK’s Thursday Coffee Break – February 1st:

We’ll continue to review our Coffee Break and follow up on other items that we discussed in conversation – such as the abrupt arrival of a local religious group at a recent Metropolis Public Library Board Meeting, the Metropolis Public Libary Christmas Open House and more.

We invite the community to weigh in.
