Massac Memorial’s Wellness Wednesday
Ashley Hagerty, Physician Assistant at Massac Medical Clinic states she has seen patients with upper respiratory infections that is causing pink eye symptoms. Viral respiratory infection causing symptoms such as sinus congestion, sore throat and cough. Viral infections are typically treated with symptom management rather than antibiotics, but are still very contagious. She also continues to have patients testing positive for covid.
Jennifer Kennedy, Nurse Practitioner at Massac Medical Clinic states she has seen cases of hand, foot, and mouth along with other viral illnesses. She continues to have patients testing positive for strep and covid. Jennifer encourages people to stay home if they are sick.
