(WMOK – Metropolis, IL) North Avenue – Country Club Intersection is now a 4 Way Stop following installation of stop signs on Tuesday morning.
WMOK learned in January that the changes to the intersection were in the works. The discussion to address the number of crashes at the intersection resurfaced following an accident involving a Franklin Elementary School bus in early January.
The Massac County Commissioners joined WMOK in studio on Tuesday morning for Coffee Break – one of their topics – the arrival of stop signs on North Avenue.
