At approximately 4:47am on Thursday the Brookport Fire was toned for a “large fire” on E 2nd Street in the Flood Wall area of Brookport.
Due to high winds and the spread of the fire, Massac County Fire Protection District was toned for man power. The Brookport Fire Department wants to thank everyone who assisted from early hours until mid morning.
