WMOK spoke with Massac County Sheriff Chad Kaylor earlier this week regarding the sentencing of Christopher Thompson, a former employee of the Massac County Emergency Management Agency who was indicted in 2020 for defrauding the county by setting up charge accounts for his personal use.
Thompson plead guilty in November of 2021 and earlier this month a federal court judge sentenced Thompson. Thompson will pay restitution and serve jail time.
