Local emergency crews responded on Monday morning to Woodhaven in Metropolis. Scanner traffic indicated that dispatch received a call advising of an explosion in Woodhaven.
WMOK has learned that following the explosion a Metropolis man who sustained injuries was airlifted to a hospital.
