(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – When Massac County Sheriff Chad Kaylor joined us this week for Coffee Break he advised that there have been some thefts and break-ins in vehicles in the county since we last spoke.
Sheriff Kaylor advised that around midway through December several cars were struck by thieves in areas of Massac County ranging from around the Lakewood subdivision area / Massac Creek Road area to the the southern end of Kommer Road.
Kaylor said some of the vehicles were unlocked and some were forced entry. He also noted that many stolen items were found strewn about the area.
