(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – Meteorologist Beau Dodson joined us in the studio this morning during the nine o’clock hour to make us aware of an incoming arctic outbreak.
Beau said that as the rain moves out today we expect “nice weather” on Wednesday and Thursday. He also noted that we should use those “nice days” to prepare for what lies ahead.
Beau calls for a big system on Thursday night into Friday morning with a rapid temperature drop beginning Friday with overnight lows in the 20s. Saturday evening’s lows are expected to be in the teens – Sunday and Monday evening’s lows in the single digits and teens. He advised that the “single digit and teens” overnight temperatures could remain Tuesday and Wednesday night.
