Monday

Congratulations to Coach McVey and the girls golf team on their second place finish today at the Taylorville Sectional. This earns the girls team another trip to the IHSA Girls 1A Golf State Championship this weekend at Red Tail Run GC in Decatur, IL

 

A big thank you and congratulations to the boys golf team on their very strong season that came to an end yesterday in the Mt. Carmel 2A Sectional. Good luck to the guys who are playing one last event today at Anna-Jonesboro



The Lady Patriots volleyball team takes care of business again at home with a straight set win tonight in all three levels over Graves County. The win is the 20th of the season for Coach Miller and the girls, keep it up ladies

Massac County FR/SO football goes on the road again tonight to challenge the Tigers at Herrin HS, kickoff is set for 6:00pm

Tuesday

Congrats to Head Coach Kyle Reinwald and the boys soccer team on their win over Centralia yesterday. This completed an outstanding regular season finishing (16-1-2) and earning the top seed at the Carlyle Regional where they will play Friday 10/13/23 at 4:00pm




Massac volleyball remained undefeated in SIRR play last night with a win on the road at Harrisburg.

MCHS boys JV soccer will compete against Vienna-Goreville today in a home match at 4:00pm

Thursday

With their win at Herrin on Thursday night, the Massac County volleyball team clinched another SIRR Ohio Division Championship as they moved to (7-0) in conference play. Congratulations to Coach Miller and the girls

 

The cross country meet scheduled at Pinckneyville was canceled due to inclement weather

Friday

IHSA Girls 1A Golf State Championship this weekend at Red Tail Run GC in Decatur, IL

After a solid first day at the 1A State Final Tournament, the Lady Patriots are in third place as a team with Elise Coakley leading the charge in 5th place as an individual. Good luck to the girls today in the final round

(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – It was a loss for your Massac County Patriots on the road Friday Night – however in true fashion they never gave up.  The remarks of WMOK’s sportscasters throughout the season regarding the tenacity of this year’s players have been plentiful.

Saturday

Congratulations to the Massac County girls golf team on their 4th place finish at the state tournament. The girls wrapped up a great season with a strong showing in Decatur at Red Tail Run GC yesterday and today
