(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – Tammie Wiseman Obermark joined us at WMOK last week to give us to the details surrounding the Massac County Youth Fair which began on Friday at the Massac County Fairgrounds. The Massac County Fairgrounds are located on Korte Road in Massac County – between Massac High School and North Avenue.
Sew It, Grow It Show It
After flash floods moved through the Massac County Youth Fair Grounds this morning some announcements were made via social media:
- The 4H Livestock events for today have been canceled due to flash flooding.
- All Beef and Swine animals & exhibitors are released from the Massac/Johnson 4-H show today
- The Food Auction is scheduled to take place on Wednesday night ((please note that “Tuesday” in the Fair Book is a misprint)) following the Celebrity Showmanship Competition. We will stay in touch with Fair President Tammie Obermark for any schedule changes due to weather.
