Massac County Farm Bureau Manager Alexis Shreves has advised that the opening day for the Massac County Farmers market will be April Saturday 15th

This year the market will take place at Dorothy Miller park – east Front Street in Metropolis and will be open Saturdays from 7 am- 12 pm.

There is no fee to set up at the Massac County Farmers Market however it is asked that vendors register with Alexis.  You can call Alexis at 618-524-5811 or email at MassacFB1@gmail.com.

Alexis told WMOK this morning on Coffee Break that she has several new vendors lined up for the Market – produce, eggs, plants, jewelry and crafts and live chicks.  Gary Verbarg has updated that he will be there with cabbage, banana peppers, jalapeno peppers, broccoli, and red and yellow tomatoes.

Alexis continues to follow up with vendors and contact new ones.  Alexis advised that there is plenty of space available for vendors at Dorothy Miller Park and she hopes that folks will take advantage of the opportunity to share their wares.
