Massac Unit 1 School Superintendent Jason Hayes – Acknowledgements and Announcements – April 2023

Massac County School Superintendent Jason Hayes joined WMOK for Coffee Break on Wednesday morning at which time we discussed acknowledgements and announcements.

Mr. Hayes gave special thanks to both Metropolis Kiwanis and Metropolis Rotary for their annual fundraising efforts which provide scholarships to area seniors.

MCHS met a “Safe Day Goal” of 60 days on March 31.  There will be a celebration period for the students on Thursday.

Metropolis Elementary School hosted a Family Reading Night on March 23rd.

MJHS is expected to meet their “Safe Day Goal” of 133 days on Tuesday, April 18th

Mr. Hayes also discussed Kindergarten Screening, 7th Grade Orientation, Class of 2023 College Signing Day and the Guitar Raffle for Graham Hosman.
