Metropolis Police Chief Harry Masse – SAFE Fund And Community Policing

/ WMOK

WMOK spoke with Metropolis Police Chief Harry Masse earlier this year about the SAFE fund and community policing.

Chief Masse told WMOK that the SAFE fund, Safe And Fun Education, is a charity program geared towards the kids. The SAFE fun is used for events such as Trunk or Treat and the End of Summer Bash at the Metropolis City Pool.  The SAFE fund also allows for the Metropolis Police Department to provide pencils and other needed items to Metropolis Elementary School.

Masse said they are taking donations – those in the community who would like to donate – just bring your donation to the Metropolis Police Department at 1020 Broadway St, Metropolis.  Please be sure to put SAFE Fund in the Memo line of the check
