Chief Harry Masse told WMOK during our March Coffee Break that city crime hasn’t been overly busy with crime itself. Masse said that service calls have been up. This includes calls such as welfare checks.
Masse stated that it has been an emotionally taxing couple of weeks for his officers as they’ve been on the scene of two child deaths as well as a suicide and an overdose death.
Masse told WMOK that thefts are down and residents have been calling in when seeing suspicious activity – “Kudos to the public”.
