3rd Annual Super Fast and Furriest Cruise-In Returns to Superman Square

/ WMOK

METROPOLIS, IL — Car enthusiasts and animal lovers alike will gather in Uptown Metropolis on Saturday, September 12, 2026, for the 3rd Annual Super Fast and Furriest Cruise-In. The event, scheduled from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM along Market Street at Superman Square, brings the community together for a evening of classic rides and charitable support.

Organized by local supporters alongside the Super Museum and Project Hope Humane Society, the cruise-in is open to all vehicle makes and models. Whether showing off a restored classic, a custom build, or a daily driver, participants can display their vehicles right in the heart of Metropolis.

Beyond the automotive showcase, the event serves a vital local cause. Proceeds and awareness raised during the cruise-in benefit Project Hope Humane Society, a local no-kill animal shelter operating in Metropolis.

In addition to the vehicle lineup, vendor spaces are available for local businesses and community organizations, and photographers will be on-site to capture the action throughout the evening.
