Road Closure Begins Today for Concrete Box Culvert Installation on Country Club Road

April Road Closure for Concrete Box Culvert Installation on Country Club Road

The Massac County Highway Department has announced the impending installation of a concrete box culvert on Country Club Road, set to begin this spring.

Starting April 13, 2026, a section of the road will be closed between North Avenue and Carriage Lane.

Residents and commuters are encouraged to plan alternate routes to avoid delays and ensure smooth travel during the construction period.

The culvert installation is a crucial infrastructure improvement designed to enhance water drainage and road safety, and the highway department emphasizes the importance of this project for the community’s long-term benefit.

The Massac County Highway Department appreciates the cooperation and understanding of the community during this essential work. Motorists are advised to keep an eye out for detour signs and to exercise caution in the vicinity of the construction area. Your patience and support as we work to improve our local roads are greatly valued.
