Misty Meadows Senior Living took to social media this week to share the accomplishments of one of their residents, Barney McGill.
At 90 years old he is taking karate classes and received two 2nd place medals this weekend at a tournament in Benton Kentucky.
One Medal was for “weapon of choice” which he chose a cane, and the other second place medal was for demonstration LMA-1.
He said when they announced his age, he received a round of applause and many of the younger kids wanted to take their pictures with him.
Barney should be an inspiration to us all and what we should learn from this is “never say never.”
