Adoptable Dogs and Metropolis Pound Capacity - Metropolis Animal Control Officer John Roman talks with WMOK - Coffee Break - Segment 1 - 8.20 WMOK - Metropolis

WMOK – Metropolis, IL – It’s no news to our community members who tune in for our Coffee Break programs on WMOK that Metropolis Animal Abatement Officer John Roman goes far above and beyond to care for the canines that come into the Metropolis Pound.

Officer Roman has often discussed with WMOK the importance of donations that allow him additional time to place the pooches rather than euthanize them in many instances.

In our discussion below Roman fills us in on what adoptable dogs are currently at the Metropolis Pound looking for a new home.

Listen to our conversation below:

How to help – Folks can follow the Metropolis Pound Facebook Page at the link below.  When you see an animal that Officer Roman has posted as “being checked in to Doggy Jail”, you can share the post to your Facebook feed to help locate the owners.
