WMOK (Metropolis, IL) – The City of Metropolis has announced the completion of essential repairs to the water main in the Cedar Lane subdivision. The repairs, which took place on Thursday, May 29th, 2025, were successfully finished without any major issues.
Residents can now resume normal water usage, as the brief boil water order that was implemented during the repair process has also been lifted. The city appreciates the community’s patience and understanding throughout this necessary work to improve local water infrastructure.
