WMOK (Metropolis, IL) – On Monday evening, Mayor Gregg Jeffords was officially sworn in before the Metropolis City Council Meeting. This ceremony represents a pivotal moment for the community as Mr. Jeffords embarks on his mayoral duties.
With the swearing in of Mayor Jeffords, other newly elected officials sworn in include Jan Adams (Metropolis City Clerk), and Alderpersons Michele Longworth (Ward 1), Cord Koch (Ward 2), Darryl Neill (Ward 3), and Chad Lewis (Ward 4).
