(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – The Metropolis Police Department is pleased to announce the addition of three new patches to its fundraising projects, aimed at supporting important causes within the community.

Priced at $15.00 each, these patches represent Breast Cancer awareness, domestic violence prevention, and Autism Awareness.

The pink patch signifies the department’s commitment to raising awareness about Breast Cancer, while the purple patch represents their dedication to combatting domestic violence. The multi-colored puzzle piece patch symbolizes their support for Autism Awareness.

Individuals interested in purchasing these patches can do so by making a check payable to the Metropolis Police Department. In the memo line, please specify which patch you would like to purchase.

Chief Masse expressed his gratitude for the community’s ongoing support and emphasized the importance of these fundraising efforts in reaching out to every member of the community.

These patches not only raise funds for crucial causes but also serve as symbols of unity and support.
