ASA Archery Tournament 2023 Underway at Mermet Lake in Massac County


The Mathews Archery Pro/Am begins on  Thursday and continues through Sunday July 2nd, 2023 at Mermet Lake State Conservation Area.  The event has been held at Mermet for well over twenty years.

The ASA Archery was recently chosen as one of the Top 3-D Archery Events To Attend This Summer by Bowhunting.com

Competitors and Spectators are welcome to attend.

Wednesday: Noon – 5 PM ASA Registration & Practice Facilities Open

Thursday: 8:00 AM ASA Registration / Practice Facilities open

Friday: 8:00 AM ASA Registration / Facilities open

Saturday: 6:30 AM Registration / Practice Facilities open

Saturday 3:00 pm: Pro Pressure Point Shoot Down
Ft Massac State Park

6:00 PM Pro and Crossbow 45 Awards

Sunday: 6:00 AM Sunrise Services

6:00 AM Practice facilities open

7:30 AM Final Round – Shotgun Start

9:00 AM Awards Ceremony – Amateur Classes completed Saturday

1:00 PM Facilities close

William K. Moore, 18, of Paducah, KY, was arrested in the 500 block of E. 9th Street. He was wanted on a warrant issued by McCracken County, KY, for a felony charge of theft involving a firearm. Moore is currently being held at the Massac County Detention Center pending extradition.
