Music in Our Schools Month – Massac Unit #1 Music Programs

WMOK asked Massac County School Superintendent Jason Hayes to discuss Music Education when he joined us earlier this month for Coffee Break as March is Music in Our Schools Month.

Hayes said he’s proud of the music programs that Massac Unit #1 offers and that there have been some amazing musicians to come through Unit 1.

Music and Band are offered at all elementary levels.

Massac Jr High offers Band, Choir and Drama.

Massac High School offers marching symphonic pep band, jazz band, piano, choir and drama.
