In reaching out to the hotels to see what assistance was need, the GMCVB found that many of the victims did not have insurance and were renting their places of residence. They are now responsible for all their hotel charges.
In order to ensure these victims are not removed from their hotels due to lack of payment, GMCVB has set up a fund for people to donate to in order to cover lodging expenses.
The fund will be overseen by the Greater Metropolis Convention & Visitors Bureau. If you have any questions please contact: Trish Childers Steckenrider, GMCVB Executive Director
